Landmark Albany Apartment Community Welcomed To Albany As Part of $56 Million Investment By Dawn Homes Management

Dawn Homes Management LLC today announced the grand opening of ‘Landmark Albany,’ the newly completed market-rate apartment community in the City of Albany. The 252-unit development is part of Dawn Homes’ $56 million investment on Sandidge Way, off Fuller Road and adjacent to SUNY Polytechnic Institute.

 

A project made possible with City of Albany IDA support  — the property will produce more than four times or more than $8.8 million additional revenue generated to local taxing jurisdictions anticipated to have been collected without this new investment. Dozens of residents are moving into the 6.49 acre site’s completed apartment buildings. The project will create at least seven permanent and 165 construction jobs.

In addition to the 252 units, there will be an office portion of one building, common areas and parking for 343 cars including 188 parking spaces at the lower level of the residential buildings.

The $56 million community represents one of Dawn Homes’ largest investments and features amenities including wireless internet throughout the property, an electric car charging station, indoor parking garages, a fitness center with commercial-grade LIFE FITNESS equipment, a dog park, chef-inspired kitchen with high-end finishes and other luxury features.
