New Scotland Spirits Tasting Room Now Open On Lark Street

Founded in 2016 The company is expanding its reach and furthering its longtime ambition crafting spirits imbued with the taste of New Scotland, NY.
New Scotland Spirits is committed to crafting locally-sourced spirits in honor of its team’s native New Scotland, NY. Utilizing grains grown on Upstate New York’s family farms.
Now located at the corner of State & Lark Streets in Albany’s Center Square neighborhood is its new namesake whiskey lounge — a Prohibition Era-style speakeasy recently built to serve as its company flagship, just 10 miles east of the New Scotland homebase.
Activating vacant commercial space, the nearly $200,000 extensive renovation project at the 209 Lark Street Tasting Room was recently completed with support from Capitalize Albany Corporation’s Building Improvement Grant Program made possible through the City of Albany’s American Rescue Plan Act funding process.
New Scotland Spirits specializes in cocktails handcrafted by some of the Capital Region’s most proficient bartenders and mixologists.
The Tasting Room offers samples and flights of its rye, wheat, and bourbon “Helderberg Whiskies” — as well as its award-winning gin and vodka.
beer, wine, mead, and cider from producers all across New York State is also featured.
New Scotland Spirits’ Tasting Room is open every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
