As part of the tactical revitalization plan for Downtown Albany, Capitalize Albany Corporation is working with the City of Albany and a world-class consultant team to develop the Corning Preserve Waterfront Master Plan. This effort, funded in part by NYS Department of State builds from the soon-to-be completed Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Plan Update. The goal of this master plan is to develop specific short, mid and long-term plans for the revitalization of the Corning Preserve – projects that will be underway starting this coming spring. These improvements may include bike, pedestrian, water-based, and vehicular transportation, park programming, connections to downtown and adjacent neighborhoods, and the provision of services.

Next week we will have two meetings on the Corning Preserve Waterfront Park Plan. Both meetings will include a presentation and survey on possible park improvements with an opportunity to discuss park improvement ideas in detail. Attached is the flyer on the meeting.
