McLaren Engineering Group Opens Office In Downtown Albany

McLaren Engineering Group, a full-service engineering firm with eight divisions officially opened their newest office at 5 Clinton Square in downtown Albany’s Patroon Building on Wednesday. The new location will allow the firm to serve its growing roster of public and private sector clients. Capitalize Albany Corporation joined the Capital Region Chamber, the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID), Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and County Executive Daniel P. McCoy along with other regional leaders for an official ribbon cutting to celebrate the new office.
“As McLaren Engineering continues to expand, we want to be closer to our key Capital District public and private sector clients,” said Malcolm McLaren, president and CEO of McLaren Engineering Group. “The Capital District offers opportunities to serve clients in all of our eight diverse disciplines including transportation, structures, marine and entertainment.”
McLaren’s regional projects have included the Hurricane Irene Emergency Reconstruction Project, the Colonie Center building expansion and redevelopment, the Walkway over the Hudson, and the world’s first recycled plastic bridge in the town of New Baltimore.
