Wilson Apartments Proposed for Downtown Albany

An apartment building and parking garage could be built in the vacant space located at the corner of North Pearl and Wilson streets. The proposed project which encompasses constructing an 18-unit apartment building and parking garage on the 9,074-square-foot lot at 191 North Pearl Street is in the early stages of development. The 18 units would add to downtown’s more than 300 apartments developed in recent years supported by the Impact Downtown Albany strategic plan, furthering the growth of Albany’s newest neighborhood. Downtown’s residential capacity can absorb 100-200 additional units annually over the next ten years, and the district is on track to meet that market potential
