A Vibrant Summer With South Pearl Pop-Up Programming

Supporting Impact Downtown implementation, pop-up programming is building buzz this summer in downtown Albany. The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District’s outdoor movie series Bites Camera Action is back.

This year’s events are transforming a section of South Pearl Street into an open-air movie theater and block party. Each Monday evening through August 20, popular films, including both classic favorites and new releases that were chosen largely in part by members of the community will be shown on the Times Union Center’s new 15-by-70-foot LED display screens, one of the many TU Center enhancements as part of a $19.6 million façade renovation. Learn more about tonight’s event and see the full schedule here.
