Employment Opportunity: Accountant

The Capitalize Albany Corporation, a  dynamic, multi-faceted,  not for profit economic development corporation is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced accountant to prepare monthly account reconciliations and general ledger entries, assist in fiscal-period closings, handle AP and AR duties, and other tasks as assigned.  The successful candidate will have at least 2-years of hands-on accounting experience and a working knowledge of GAAP.  Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required; bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.  We are looking for a professional who is highly organized, possesses a strong attention to detail, and has the ability to work independently.  Salary is $45,000.  Please e-mail cover letter, resume, and salary history (put “Accountant Search” in the subject line) to: [email protected]
