Cornell University Urban & Regional Studies Students Visit Capitalize Albany
October 23, 2015
On October 23, 30 students from Cornell University’s Urban and Regional Studies program visited Capitalize Albany Corporation and toured the City of Albany. The visit was part of a planned trip for students to learn more about Albany, what drives a city’s growth and best practices in economic development.
The Organization of Urban and Regional Studies (OURS) is a student run organization at Cornell University and aims to give students a wider perspective of the field of urban and regional studies through hands-on urban experience. The City of Albany’s recent development garnered the attention of the student organization and the tour was planned.
