74 State Is Now Home To New Fairfield Inn & Suites

Renovations at the boutique 74 State Hotel were unveiled Thursday after undergoing its transformation which began in 2015. Capitalize Albany Corporation joined City of Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan, other City leaders, stakeholders and the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District to officially welcome the new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott to the City of Albany.

With the new addition of the Fairfield Inn, State Street now features two internationally recognized Marriott hotel brands. This occurs ahead of the Albany Capital Center’s 2017 opening, which is projected to draw more than 85,000 visitors to downtown annually.
