The Crossroads: Pop Up Arts Exhibition at 200 Washington Avenue In Albany
August 10, 2016
Local artists and the staff of the Lark Street Business Improvement District (BID) will be hosting The Crossroads: An Underground Pop-Up Experimental Arts Exhibition on Thursday, August 11, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 200 Washington Ave., the building formerly occupied by Key Bank. The Crossroads, made possible by funding in part through Capitalize Albany Corporation’s Amplify Albany grant program, will showcase visual art by internationally renowned artists either currently or formerly based in Albany, as well as up and coming artists from in and around the Capital Region. The event will serve to generate foot traffic for the business district and interest among residents, visitors and students from nearby colleges in the Center Square area as a hub for artists, and showcase the area as a destination in Albany.
