Joined by its investors, hundreds of community leaders and stakeholders, Capitalize Albany Corporation hosted its annual event, Building For Tomorrow 2016 on Nov. 15, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Albany Medical Center, celebrating an extraordinary year of building momentum in the Capital City. In review of 2016, Capitalize Albany presented on an unprecedented year of investment and discussed the opportunities ahead for the City of Albany. For more than three decades the work of Capitalize Albany Corporation has elevated the City of Albany and the Region. It’s executing action-oriented strategies and catalyzing transformation in Albany’s neighborhoods, downtown and commercial districts. During the event’s program four panelists took the stage to discuss the tremendous investments under way in the City of Albany. They told their stories and explained how what’s taking shape has impacted them and the neighborhoods they’re working and investing in. Panelists included founder and CEO of the warehouse district’s Good Market Ross Goodman, owner of Sheridan Hollow’s Hungry Hollow cafe Janet Rothacker, owner of Stacks Espresso Bar and LeetSystems in downtown Albany Tyler Wrightson, and Albany Barn Executive Director Kristen Holler.
