Nine Pin Ciderworks has completed the repurposing of its former 3,200 sq. ft. production area into an  expanded tasting room.

Enhancing the on-site experience, the new space can connect to the outdoor patio. This also allows for an event space containing both indoor and outdoor elements for private functions including corporate meetings or celebratory events.

Renovations were  made possible with the support of an Empire State Development Craft Beverage Micro Grant Program award as part of the Regional Economic Development Councils Initiative Round 13. Work to prepare the space involved refinishing of the floor, painting, and more. An old overhead door was replaced with an insulated glass overhead door permitting daylight and views of the neighboring park, Albany’s iconic Nipper and other nightlife establishments in Albany’s warehouse district near Nine Pin’s tasting room.

Nine Pin first opened in the warehouse district now just over 10 years ago, its investment in the district to date has been significant and its retail side has grown to be a key destination within the City of Albany for locals and tourists alike, as one of the Capital Region’s most exciting agri-tourism businesses.
