RFP: Website Design And Development

Capitalize Albany Corporation is seeking proposals from qualified, creative and experienced firms and professionals to provide website design and development services in designing and launching its new website. Please find a Request For Proposals at the link below. Responses to this RFP are due to Corporation staff by 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 and the successful Respondent to this RFP would be expected to begin work in 2027.

RFP: Website Design And Development For Capitalize Albany Corporation 

As the City of Albany’s economic development organization, for more than four decades the work of Capitalize Albany has elevated New York’s capital city and Capital Region. Our team recognizes the importance of having a website that provides effective engagement as a communications channel, news and information source, form of contact and home for important Corporation-related public documents.

To continue to build on Capitalize Albany’s communication strategy, the Corporation wants to redesign the website to incorporate new website technologies with simple navigation. The Corporation requires this website to be highly attractive, modern, functional, mobile friendly, accessible, and responsive. From an administrative perspective, the site must be easy to update by users of varied technical expertise. The current site was launched in 2011.
