Fidens Brewing Opens First Taproom In Albany, Welcomed To The Warehouse District

Fidens Brewing today opened its new, and first, 11,000 sq. ft. taproom located in Albany’s warehouse district at 897 Broadway, restaurant space which is next to Wolff’s Biergarten and across from The Copper Crow.

Fidens Brewing features 30 beers on tap and space for up to 370 guests. One of Fidens Brewing’s premiere menu items is a smash burger featuring a beef blend created specifically for Fidens by its chef Josh Herring.
Fidens Brewing Co. first opened in 2019 and it outgrew its Colonie location, not being able to fully maximize its retail operations. Its Albany taproom is the latest milestone of Fidens’ expansion plans as it looks to secure additional manufacturing and inventory space to scale up and consider future taproom locations.
This comes following an extensive renovation at 897 Broadway made possible through the City of Albany’s American Rescue Plan Act funding process with support from Capitalize Albany Corporation’s Building Improvement Grant (BIG) Program. Fidens’ grant, one of 30+ awarded to Albany small businesses, supported renovation and redesign work as well as furniture purchases to activate the space.
